Triplane Fighters | |
English:
A 3D flightsim/shooter with World War I airplanes
The game has 3 view modes: Fixed, Chase and First Person. But in my opinion only the First Person is useful. So, it's better to click 2 times on "C" after starting up a new game (to get the FPS mode). The Fixed and Chase modes are good to take screenshots, but that's all.
It is not a very easy game because there are a bunch of enemy planes, but luckily you have unlimited ammo :)
When you hit an enemy, it falls down leaving a smoke trail, and you gain 10 points. When you hit it a second time, it explodes and you get 50 more points.
Sometimes you have to save a parachuter (by flying over it), which gives you 100 points. The next parachuter you save will give you 200 points, the next 300 points and so.
After reaching the first 1000 points (and from then on each time you make another 2000 points) you'll find a big blimp you have to destroy by hitting it many times. It will give you 500 points.
Controls:
- mouse (or arrow keys): move your triplane
- left mouse button (or space): fire
- C: change camera mode (external fixed / chasing / inside), it is very useful
- P: pause / resume game
- S: take a screenshot
- Return: go back to the main menu from submenus
- Esc: exit to Windows without prompt
