A nice remake of MunchMan, a pacmanlike game
MunchMates is a remake of the TI-99/4A game Munchman. Guide one of the MunchMates through the maze, making links and avoiding the Hoonos is a quest to forge the chains of love.
Your goal is to fill the maze with linked chains and avoiding being caught by the Hoonos. You can turn the tables on your enemies by grabbing one of the four pulsing power pills. This causes the Hoonos to go into shadow mode and you can grab them for a short while. The more Hoonos you grab, the more points you get. Their point values are 100 points for the first one caught, then 200, 400, and finally 800. This resets back to 100 when they escape into the maze again. Be careful though, they will start to flash when leaving shadow mode and soon they'll be dangerous again!
You get a new MunchMate for every 10,000 points you earn. The game automatically stores your high score for each maze too, so keep trying to top your best!
