Nice shooting game: Defend your city
Cliff Gunner is a single player game where you must man a cliff-mounted laser battery and defend the city below from Alien attackers.
The city below consists of several buildings. Among the houses and skyscrapers are three anti-aircraft stations that will aid you in your mission. Be careful when firing because your lasers can take out the buildings as well. The game ends when you either defeat 12 mother ships or the number of your buildings falls below 10 percent (indicated on the right hand side of the screen). On the left hand side of the screen is the power station. Guard it as much as you can. If the power station is destroyed not only will your city be plunged into darkness, but you will lose the anti-aircraft stations as well. As well you have smart bombs which will destroy everything attacking your save for the mother ships themselves. You will start off with three, but gain an additional one for each extra day. How many bombs you have remaining is indicated on the bottom middle section of the screen.
You receive bonus points for every day you keep the city safe. This is indicated in the bottom left hand corner along with your score.
Controls:
Mouse: Moves the crosshair around the screen
Left Mouse Button: Fires the Lasers
Right Mouse Button: Smart Bomb
Esc: Exit game
