Earthbound Summer Vacation | |
English:
A Good Challenging Platform Game.
I'm not familiar with the "Earthbound" story, but I presume somewhere it explains why the hero has a "Psychic" attack. This game has our hero on vacation, where he enters a photography competition. There follows a quest to visit and photograph three locations which can only be reached by getting through a series of stages consisting of complex platform puzzles and a few simple enemies, mostly crows. There may be "boss" enemies too but I haven't got that far yet.
This is one of the best platform games I've played. The difficulty level is really just right for this type of game, just this side of infuriating. There are limited save points but they are at a reasonable interval, so far they have been three levels apart. Graphics are bright, bold and well drawn. Sound is good, music is used well. Technically the game is well made, I've only managed to get totally stuck once, in a moving platform. In summary an excellent addition to your platformer collection. Escape key to quit, the "X" doesn't work. It's a Gamemaker thing.
