Based on a Retro Classic.
Millenipede is a good classsic retro game with colorful graphics and fast action gameplay. Mouse controls i found were better and more precise than keys. I never played the original but Millenipede does play ok, it does seem to be much of the same thing like most retro games, even still it's worth a download.

Millenipede is a PC version of the classic Atari shooter Centipede, originally developed in less than seven days for the 94th "Wednesday Workshop" at SoCoder. It's sort of grown and developed a life of its own since then - nothing groundbreaking, but curiously good fun...
Your aim is to zap all of the centipedes on each wave while dodging spiders, snails, mushrooms and of course the centipedes themselves. They'll make their way down the screen until eventually they hit the bottom - at that point they will roam around the player area until you shoot them.
Each dead centipede will, for some environmentally friendly reason, grow into a mushroom. These serve no purpose aside from blocking the movement of other centipedes and hindering your bullets. Each mushroom takes four shots to completely destroy.
If you touch any enemy, be it a centipede, spider or snail, you lose a life, but if you can manage to shoot them first then a nice points bonus will head your way. See how long you can survive and aim for the top spot on the highscore table!
