English:
A beautiful 3D Wild-West shooter
Quack Shoot is part of the Real Time Strategy and Adventure game "Territory: The Mountain Men" which will be released later this year. It is an arcade sub level, a game within a game, that gives the player an opportunity to augment the food supply.
Territory places the player in the role of a mountain man trapper bent on making a fortune and a reputation in the fur trade. The setting is the upper Missouri River and Northern Rockies circa 1815. Exploration of the area opens opportunities for trading with Indian tribes and for establishing trapper cabins and trading posts. The fortunes of the fur trade are offset by the misfortunes of encounters with hostile Indians, rival fur companies, and predatory wild animals.
Maintaining a food supply is essential to the strategy of success. When the player stumbles across a duck pond he has the option of supplementing the food supply by hunting ducks, which is the raison d'etre for Quack Shoot.
