Robo-Hare adventure | |
English:
A top-down shooter
Pros :
- Very complex game. There's a research base, buy mode, various missins, etc.
- Sound scheme is well chosen.
- Huge variety of well done graphics.
- Plenty of enemies, obstacles, scenery, etc. for an interesting exerpience.
Cons :
- Way too difficult. Every enemy you meet at first cuts your life in half Then when you get better at the game after a couple thousand lives, you manage to make it past a couple of the least dangerous enemies only to get cut down by a better one. And finally in level 3, no matter how good you are, they simply butcher you.
- The collision isn't the greatest. You can often get stuck up on a wall which is absolutely infuriating when you've got three million enemies on your tail. A big improvement would have been to make it sliding collision such that you slide along an obstacle rather than sticking to it.
- Needs a much more extensive help file/tutorial. Very difficult to figure out what to do in base.
- The save/load feature is buggy. Whenever you go to save a game it gives you some error and when you try to load a game it either ignores you or gives another error.
- While playing the game, it continually runs smoothly for a period of time and then freezes for about 3 or 4 seconds before going again.
This game was an entry of the Caiman Easter contest 2006
