An easy to play Sonic platformer
Each level ends with a boss level.
To complete a level, run past the signpost at the end. Destroy badniks and bosses by jumping on them. Bosses take mulitple hits to destroy, while badniks take only one.
When you take one of the large rings that are hidden throughout the levels, you will enter a special stage. The Special Stages are all that stand between you and the powerful Chaos Emeralds. Complete the game with all seven Emeralds to gain access to cheat codes. In the Stages themselves, you must collect the Flickies (the little blue things) as they scroll past. If you reach the end of the Stage and have missed no more than five Flickies, you will be awarded with a Chaos Emerald. Collect all the Flickies, and you will be given a Continue. Continues allow you to keep playing even after losing all your lives. Press Shift, Space or Enter at the Continue after Game Over to continue playing, or wait for the timer to run out to return to the title screen.
Controls:
Arrows = move / duck
Shift = jump (on the plane = fire)
Esc = exit game
