The objective of Time Gems is to set the analog clock to a specific time by collecting gems which are worth a certain amount of minutes. When you start the game in the lowest level you have 10 minutes to collect enough 5 and 10 minute time gems to set the anolog clock ahead by one hour. If you set this clock ahead to much then you must find the hour glass which will take time away from the analog clock. When the analog clock is set correctly the level ends and the next level begins with even more different values of time gems. In higher levels other increments of time gems are added to the game making it more challenging. This game was designed to teach the basics of time calculations, while making it easy for even younger gamers to play and get used to the computer environment.
Time Gems has everything which you probably might want in an education game for children who need to learn about time keeping and it even leaves out the vilence. It is a simple game to play. The graphics, sound and music are all very good. At ceratains points during the game the time remaining is spoken by a female.
Controls:
Mouse = look around
Left Mouse Button = Move Forward
Right Mouse Button = Move Backward
P = Pause
M = Music On/Off
S = UnStick
