The Fourth Dimension is a 3D puzzle game in which you must collect various colored keys and do certain things in a specific order in a limited amount of time to solve the puzzle. Some of the other things you must do are: open doors, toggle switches, avoid monstors and dodge gunfire.
There are seven levels to this game and If you do not complete the fourth level (for example) in the alocated amount of time, the game ends and you must start the game all over from the very first level. Your man walks very slowly making this an even greater annoyance. Aside from this, the game is quite good. And is certainly challenging.
The game runs in full screen mode at1024x768 pixels. Other then the music selections there are no options and nothing is saved There is a very good story line which should be read to get the full flavor for this game. It can be read from the game isself or from a text file.
Controls:
Arrow Keys = Move
Space = Pause/UnPause/Music selction Menu
Esc = Quit Game
Up/Down Arrows = Scroll Text During Intoductory Screen
Enter or Space = Skip Various Pre-Game Screens
Music Selection Menu:
Right/Left Mouse Buttons = Select Song
If you do not mind repeating levels numerous times to solve the puzzle, then this can be a fun game.
