Matchmania | |
English:
The objective of Match Mania is to get five blocks of the same type in a horizontal row. While you are doing this more random blocks are coming down from above. There are two dificulty levels, Mode A and Mode B for beginners. To play the game you start by mvoing the marker to a block you wish to move, then press the grab block key (A) and move the marker to where you want this block to be place. Then press the A key again to drop the block. And then it's on to the next block that you want to move. The game ends whan one or more blocks has fallen off the bottom of the screen. For a better understanding of how to play, it would be best to read the more detailed in game instructions.
Match Mania has many different options. For in game music you can select one of four different midi tunes, play a music CD or even turn the music off. The sound effects can be turned off also. Graphics tranparency can be turned off and the default controls can be changed. The screen mode is only 640x480 pixels in full screen mode. The five best high scores are saved with your name.
Controls:
Arrow Keys | = Movement |
A | = Grab/Drop Block |
S | = Use Bomb |
D | = Transparency Mode |
C | = Next CD Track |
X | = Previous CD Track |
P | = Pause |
Match Mania is a very good puzzle game. I would certainly recommend that if you've never played it before to start on Mode B for beginner since it is a fairly fast paced game.
