Helicopter Cacophony | |
English:
Helicopter Cacophony is an action packed helicopter shoot-em-up. There are "over 20 levels and unlockables." Before you can progress to the "real missions" you must first complete several training missions to famialize yourself with your different weapons. To complete some missions; you must keep in mind your mission objectives! (This is not just a shoot everything you can type of game.) Most of the missions are military in nature but there is at least on peacetime nonviolent mission.
The game saves your current mission progress but sometimes I am not able to load previous missions. I had to start all over at the beginning with training. Sometimes the helicopter gets hungup and am not able to move it, so I must press R to restart the level. Except for the turtorial, there is no documentation of any sort: no readme file and no faq.
The game only runs in 640x480 in either full screen or a window. The music and sound effects are very nice and the background scenery corrosponds with the mission location.
Control Keys:
Arrow Keys = movement (up/down/left/right)
Arrow Keys on keypad = movement (up/down/left/right)
F = Primary Gun
D = Two Way Gun
R = Restart
S = Missiles
A = Bombs
Esc = Quit
F4 = Black Border while in window mode
The game is fun to play but the bugs in it are very annoying.
