"Ankazis 2020 - The Sun" is a 3D shooter in which you fly around shooting at enemies, in a first-person view. While technically a good game, a couple of flaws in the gameplay area mean it is not as much fun as it could have been. To start with the good points, it offers a nice image of a 3D world, with rolling landscapes, good colorful textures on models and surroundings, good presentation, and nice sound effects and music. Now for the flaws: the flying is limited to that of a hovering vehicle, and the enemies do not seem to respond to the player. The first point means that flying is not very challenging, since the player's craft is always vertically fixed just above ground level (although aiming is influenced by vertical mouse movement, flying height is not). The second point means the enemies are rather static objects that do not seem to attack the player nor respond to the player's attacks, thus they do not offer much of a challenge.

left mouse button = shoot
right mouse button = stop moving

"Ankazis 2020 - The Sun" is een 3D shooter waarin je rondvliegt en op vijanden schiet, in het bekende eerste persoons perspectief. Hoewel het (in de woorden van Brilbeer) technisch gesproken een goed spel is, blijft het qua plezier achter. Om met de goede punten te beginnen: de 3D weergave is mooi, met heuvelachtige landschappen en kleurrijke beschildering van objecten en omgeving. Het spel wordt goed gepresenteerd en heeft leuke geluidseffecten en muziek. Nu de minder goede punten: het vliegtuig van de speler kan niet hoger of lager vliegen, en de vijanden lijken niet te reageren op de speler. Het eerste punt betekent dat het vliegen zelf niet echt spannend is: geen duikvluchten en salto's, en ook geen botsingen met de grond. Het tweede punt, over de vijanden, is belangrijker. Omdat ze niet achter je aan lijken te komen en ook niet reageren op jouw aanvallen, bevat het spel geen grote uitdaging.

rechter muisknop = het schip stoppen
