This is a nice 3d gokart racing game. You can race for practice by yourself or against up to four other opponents. KartingRace features five different camera views and several different types of car controls; including joystick, mouse, keyboard and even a steering wheel for added realism. If you want to drive off the course then that might even be possible. (I can do it!)
Depending upon how fast of a system you have, you can adjust the screen resolution as well as other detail levels and of course you can also set the sound effects and music audio levels. If your monitor is so old that it is getting a little dim then you can increase the gamma (brightness) in the configuration panel.
If you get bored with racing on one of the four built in tracks, then why not make your own course? A plus for KartingRace is the track editor, available as a seperate download. Although not very fancy, it is easy to use.
