If you are tired of shooting monstors then this 3D flight simulation might just be just for you. Your job as a US Coast Gaurd helicopter pilot is to recue stranded survivors. The look of the 3D objects is excellent but the ground, sky and water is a little blocky. This game has music and sound effects. If you are familiar with 3D flight games then the main thing to remember is to press F1 for extensive on screen help. For those who want to read the manual it is included in the downloadable no install game file from two of the Caiman servers. From the Search and Rescue home page there is also available for download a scenery editor and a 3D Model Assembler. For editing Search and Rescue 3D Object files. A joystick is optional but the files for the joystick need to be downloaded from http://wolfpack.twu.net/libjsw/
Some features are not implemented (yet) or do not work correctly but this is a simulation with "work in progress."
I am sure that our webmaster would even let his children play this simulation.
